Turn ON your wipers then turn off your Audi Q3 Quattro when the wipers are at their mid-way point on your windshield
With your wipers stopped midway on your windshield it should be easy to lift your wipers up and away from your windshield.
Your old wipers should stick out, away, from your windshield. Now allowing for easy access during the rest of the changing process.
Be sure to take note of which new blade length goes on which side.
Measure or just compare old blade length to the new Trico® wiper blades.
Then place the new blades on the correct side.
Your 2018 Audi Q3 Quattro has a "Narrow" 19mm Push Button attachment for the windshield wipers. Press the tab or button. Then slide it off the old wiper.
Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the push button.
You should have a "Narrow" 19mm Push Button Attachment on your 2018 Audi Q3 Quattro
With this arm type it is necessary to remove the preattached adaptor on the wiper blade and replace it as follows with adapter (BC)
1. Push the small adapter lever toward the center of the blade.
2. While doing step 1, lift the factory installed adaptor off of the blade and discard it.
3. Find adaptor (BC) and press it on to the center of the blade. The two nubs inside of the adaptor onto the area on the blade marked "X".
4. Press the tab on the front of the adaptor (B).
5. Lift shim (C) off of adaptor (B) and discard it. Tip: Press down on top edge of adaptor B to remove shim (C) easier.
6. Push the tabs at the back end of the adaptor together.
7. Pull the blade in to the underside of the arm.
8. The button on the top of the adaptor must lock in to the hole on the top of the arm.
Double check that wiper blades and adapters are locked on to the wiper arms.
Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.

Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the "Narrow" Push Button.
Press the button and slide off the old wiper blade.
Before installation, of the new wiper blade, slide off the plastic protector from the blade rubber.
Your 2018 Audi Q3 Quattro should have a "Narrow" Push Button (19mm) attachment (a penny should NOT fit).
With this arm type it is necessary to remove the preattached adapter on the wiper blade and replace it as follows with adapter (BC).
1. Identify the release tabs on the preattached adapter.
2. Using your index fingernails, pull both release tabs toward you.
3. The pre-attached adaptor will tilt toward you and disengage from the blade.
Discard it.
4. Locate adaptor (BC) and position it so the release tabs are face up.
Tilt adapter (BC) back in to the cavity in the blade until it "clicks" in place.
5. IMPORTANT: Both release tabs must lock in to place before proceeding to the next step.
6. Press the tab on the front of the adaptor (B).
7. Lift shim (C) off of the adaptor (B). Discard it.
8. While keeping the adaptor parallel to the arm, hold thumb on the front of the adaptor and pull the blade in to the underside of the arm.
9. The button on the top of the adaptor must lock in to the hole in the top of the arm.
Double check that wiper blades and adapters are locked on to the wiper arms.
Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.
