How to Change 2013 Jaguar XFR-S Bosch® Wiper Blades

2. Prepare your Jaguar XFR-S for an easier wiper change

   Turn ON your wipers then turn off your Jaguar XFR-S when the wipers are at their mid-way point on your windshield
   

3. Lift your wipers up from the windshield

   With your wipers stopped midway on your windshield it should be easy to lift your wipers up and away from your windshield.
   Your old wipers should stick out, away, from your windshield. Now allowing for easy access during the rest of the changing process.

   

4. Before you remove old wiper blades

   Be sure to take note of which new blade length goes on which side.
   Measure or just compare old blade length to the new wiper blades.
   Then place the new blades on the correct side.

5. Remove old wiper blades

   Your 2013 Jaguar XFR-S has a Pinch-Tab style attachment for the windshield wipers to connect with.
   Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the Pinch-Tab style attach type. With the arm lifted arm away from windshield: pinch the two tabs then pull off the old wiper blade.

6. Connect the new Bosch Clear Advantage beam wipers

   • To install your new Bosch Clear Advantage wiper blade on a Pinch-Tab arm the you must remove the adapter:
     Lift the cover edge with constant pressure until the entire adapter clicks off of the wiper:
     
     
     
   • Find adapter "2". Be sure the arrow is same direction as the base arrow:
     
     
   • Position the adapter over the center base beam and press to CLICK in to place:
     
     
     
   • Place the "tab" from your wiper arm in the top hole of the adapter as shown:
     
     
   • Rotate the wiper down AND Press BOTH wiper tabs IN to lock the wiper in place:
     
     
   • Make SURE both sides locks are in place holding your wiper in tightly:
     
     
   • Do the same procedure for the other wiper blade.

   
   

7. Check all connections...

   Tug on the wipers to double check that all wiper blades are locked on to the wiper arms.

8. Lower wipers back down to their functional positions.

   Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.
