How to Change 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Rain-X® Wiper Blades

Always check your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions on changing your wiper blades before removing/installing your wiper blades.
  1. Buy your new Rain-X® Weatherbeater® Wiper Blades

    • Long lasting durability with a galvanized steel frame that prevents rust.
    • All natural squeegee rubber that resists cracking, splitting and tearing caused by heat, cold and salt
    • High quality traditional blade with friction reducers that meet or exceeds all OEM standards
    • Just smooth consistently safe windshield wiping for your Chevrolet Trailblazer
    • Buy your Rain-X Weatherbeater wipers for your 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer $14.95 ea.

  2. Prepare your Chevrolet Trailblazer for an easier wiper change

Turn ON your wipers then turn off your Chevrolet Trailblazer when the wipers are at their mid-way point on your windshield

  3. Lift your wipers up from the windshield

With your wipers stopped midway on your windshield it should be easy to lift your wipers up and away from your windshield.
Your old wipers should stick out, away, from your windshield. Now allowing for easy access during the rest of the changing process.

  4. Before you remove old wiper blades

Be sure to take note of which new blade length goes on which side.
Measure or just compare old blade length to the new wiper blades.
Then place the new blades on the correct side.

  5. Remove old wiper blades

Your 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer has a Small J Hook (9 X 3 HOOK) type attachment for the windshield wipers to connect with.

Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the Small J Hook (9 X 3 HOOK). Look for a button to push and slide off the old wiper blade.

  6. Connect the new Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades

    • Insert the curved part of the J hook through the top opening of the wiper blade.
Guide the wiper blade in to the J hook and pull upward on the wiper until it locks in to place.
    • Check all connections...

Tug on the wipers to double check that all wiper blades are locked on to the wiper arms.

    • Lower wipers back down to their functional positions.

Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.

Congratulations! You just installed new Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades on your 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer!
