Prepare your Audi S7 for an easier wiper change

Turn ON your wipers then turn off your Audi S7 when the wipers are at their mid-way point on your windshield

Lift your wipers up from the windshield

With your wipers stopped midway on your windshield it should be easy to lift your wipers up and away from your windshield.
Your old wipers should stick out, away, from your windshield. Now allowing for easy access during the rest of the changing process.

Before you remove old wiper blades

Be sure to take note of which new blade length goes on which side.
Measure or just compare old blade length to the new Trico® wiper blades.
Then place the new blades on the correct side.

Remove old wiper blades

Your 2014 Audi S7 has a "Narrow" 19mm Push Button attachment for the windshield wipers. Press the tab or button. Then slide it off the old wiper.


Different wiper manufacturers use different style attachments for the push button.

Connect the new Trico® Tech Beam Blade wipers

You should have a "Narrow" 19mm Push Button Attachment on your 2014 Audi S7
With this arm type it is necessary to remove the preattached adaptor on the wiper blade and replace it as follows with adapter (BC)

1. Push the small adapter lever toward the center of the blade.
2. While doing step 1, lift the factory installed adaptor off of the blade and discard it.


3. Find adaptor (BC) and press it on to the center of the blade. The two nubs inside of the adaptor onto the area on the blade marked "X".


4. Press the tab on the front of the adaptor (B).
5. Lift shim (C) off of adaptor (B) and discard it. Tip: Press down on top edge of adaptor B to remove shim (C) easier.


6. Push the tabs at the back end of the adaptor together.
7. Pull the blade in to the underside of the arm.


8. The button on the top of the adaptor must lock in to the hole on the top of the arm.

Check all connections...

Double check that wiper blades and adapters are locked on to the wiper arms.
Remove any wiper blade plastic covers.

Lower wipers back down to their functional positions.

Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.

Remove plastic protector

Before installation, of the new wiper blade, slide off the plastic protector from the blade rubber.

Connect the new Trico® Force Premium Beam Blade wipers

With this arm type it is necessary to remove the preattached adapter on the wiper blade and replace it as follows with adapter BC.
1. Identitfy release tab for the preattached adapter.


2. While pressing down on the adapter release tab with your thumb.


3. Push the pre-attached adaptor towards the button to disengage it from the blade.
Discard.


4. Remove the preinstalled adapter from the wiper and discard it.


5. Find included adapter "B/C".


6. Lower B/C adapter into the cavity in the top of the blade. Slide adapter in the opposite direction from the tab until it locks in place.
Adapter B/C must lock on the to blade before you move on to the next step

7. With your Thumb press the tab in front of the adaptor (B) down HARD.
8. Lift shim (C) off the adaptor (B). Discard.

9. While holding your thumb on the adapter causing it the opposite end to pop up.

10. Pull the blade in to the underside of the arm.
11. The button on the top of the adaptor must lock in to the hole in the top of the arm.

Check all connections...

Double check that wiper blades and adapters are locked on to the wiper arms.

Lower wipers back down to their functional positions.

Carefully lower your new wipers down to your windshield. Discard old wipers and packaging material.
